A to Z bookish survey

Thank you, Jamie at Perpetual Page Turner, for creating this survey!

I haven't updated my blog in ages, but here we go.

Author you’ve read the most books from:
Meg Cabot.

Best Sequel Ever:
"Insurgent" by: Veronica Roth.

Currently Reading:
I'm actually not currently reading anything. I just finished "Sweet Venom" by: Tera Lynn Childs, about two hours ago.

Drink of Choice While Reading:
Water! It's basically all I drink, besides Gatorade or white-cran strawberry juice sometimes.

E-reader or Physical Book?
Physical book, definitely. I don't own an E-reader, but sometimes I'll use the Kindle app on my laptop if there's a book that I really want to read that's on sale for a lot cheaper than a physical copy is.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
This is a difficult question, 'cause I didn't date anybody in high school. Actually, I still haven't dated anybody. But I'd like to say that I'd date somebody like Conrad Fisher (from The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, by Jenny Han) or Michael Moscovitz  (from The Princess Diaries series, by Meg Cabot).

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
"The Program" by: Suzanne Young.

Hidden Gem Book:
"Golden" by: Jessi Kirby.

Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Discovering Goodreads! I was in a huge reading slump after I graduated high school because of the type of books they made you read. GoodReads really got me back into reading. And now I have way too many books on my to-read list and not enough money to buy them, oops.

Just Finished:
"Sweet Venom" by: Tera Lynn Childs. And I finished "The Forsaken" by: Lisa M. Stasse, about a week ago.

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
Anything with ghosts or lots of blood. I'm easily paranoid/scared and squeamish!

Longest Book You’ve Read:
"Breaking Dawn" by: Stephenie Meyer (756 pages).

Major book hangover because of:
"Requiem" by: Lauren Oliver.

Number of Bookcases You Own:
Two small ones, that only have three shelves. One is mostly full of magazines, because I have free subscriptions to a few. And then one is almost full of books. A lot of my books are on loan to a friend of mine. I need more bookcases.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
"Forever Princess" by: Meg Cabot.

Preferred Place To Read:
In bed.

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
“Take down the walls.
That is, after all, the whole point.
You do not know what will happen if you take down the walls; you cannot see through to the other side, don't know whether it will bring freedom or ruin, resolution or chaos. It might be paradise or destruction.
Take down the walls.
Otherwise you must live closely, in fear, building barricades against the unknown, saying prayers against the darkness, speaking verse of terror and tightness.
Otherwise you may never know hell; but you will not find Heaven, either. You will not know fresh air and flying.
All of you, wherever you are: in your spiny cities, or your one bump towns. Find it, the hard stuff, the links of metal and chink, the fragments of stone filling your stomach.
And pull, and pull, and pull.
I will make a pact with you: I will do it if you will do it, always and forever.
Take down the walls.”
- "Requiem" by: Lauren Oliver.

Reading Regret:
I still haven't read the Harry Potter series, even though people keep telling me to read it. Somebody buy me the new anniversary box set and I will read them haha.

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
I have one book left to read of the Kissed By An Angel series, by Elizabeth Chandler. I've had it since April and haven't touched it.

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
I'm absolutely horrible at coming up with favorites of anything. Funny enough the three I'm about to list don't have my #1 "book boyfriend" in them, oops.
"There You'll Find Me" by: Jenny B Jones, "Sisterhood Everlasting" by: Ann Brashares, and "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower" by: Stephen Chbosky.

Unapologetic Fangirl For:
The Princess Diaries series, by Meg Cabot. They're my guilty pleasure books and I've read them so many times. Also an unapologetic fangirl for the Delirum trilogy, by Lauren Oliver... along with the Divergent trilogy, by Veronica Roth.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
It's a tie between "Allegiant" by: Veronica Roth... and "Ignite Me" by: Tahereh Mafi.  I NEED THEM BOTH NOW.

Worst Bookish Habit:
I honestly don't really have a bad bookish habit. Maybe being too overprotective of my books.

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
"NEED" by: Carrie Jones.

Your latest book purchase:
"The World Of Divergent: The Path to Allegiant" by: Veronica Roth.

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
"The Forsaken" by: Lisa M. Stasse.

    1. I only lend my books to one friend, but then I'm like "JUST PUT THEM ON THE PORCH AND LET THEM AIR OUT"... 'cause the person she lives with has two cats and I'm allergic, so.
My mum read my copies of the Delirium trilogy last week, and she bent the bending too much and I'm like NO. And she read my copy of The Host before that, and it's a paperback. Oh man haha. I also won't let anybody use bookmarks. They have to use those post-it flags/tabs.

If you google it, you should be able to find pictures (:
I don't have enough money to buy all the books I want to read, sigh.
