I read so many wonderful books this year.

Then there's other stuff that happened this year. Next year, I should document better what I've done... 'cause there's not going to be a lot of things for the months of the year... Plus, I enjoy staying home haha.

  • January: Brought in the new year with my mum. Hung out with my friend Jerrica on New Year's Day. Video chatted with my bestie Ani on the 9th. My cousins Kealy and Tegan visited for a couple hours on the 21st.
  • February: Video chatted with my bestie on the 8th.
  • March: My brother and Linzi visited from the 9th to the 15th. Hung out with my friend Jerrica on the 18th.
  • April: Hung out with my friend Jerrica on the 2nd. Hung out with my friend Jerrica again on the 4th. My Auntie Misty, cousin Katie, and my second cousins Hailey, Bobbi, Connor, and Brielle visited from the 6th. Went to my cousin Austin's birthday party and hung out with my friend Jerrica on the 7th. My Gramma D passed away on the 13th ): ... Hung out with my friend Jerrica on the 25th, along with cleaning my Grampa E's house, and went to Froagie's (ice cream place). Went to Froagie's again on the 29th.
  • May: Hung out with my friend Jerrica on the 6th and went to Froagie's (it was Hanson day).
  • June: Went to the Old Port Festival on the 10th with my friend Jerrica and my dad, Dia Frampton and The Cab played at the Old Port Festival. Turned 20 on the 25th. My Gramma W came over for our joint birthday celebration ('cause her birthday is the day before mine) on the 27th.
  • July: My bestie Haley that lives in Chicago bought tickets on the 6th for us to see One Direction next year (hopefully everything works out so that I can go to Chicago next year for it).
  • August: Nothing much really.
  • September: Went to Windham with my mum, dad, and my friend Jerrica on the 18th. Watched One Direction perform live online on the iTunes Festival on the 20th. Visited Mrs. Richardson (favorite teacher from high school) with my friend Jerrica on the 25th.

Tried the Belgian candy Chokotoff for the first time (it was good), 'cause my friend Lore that lives in Belgium sent me some. Lost about 31 lbs since May (I was 211 lbs and now I'm about 180 lbs).

pandemonium.

Pandemonium finally came in the mail like a week ago! I was so excited to read it, but I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It gave me nightmares and I woke up in panic attacks, 'cause I read it at night right before I went to bed. So I just had to read it during the day. My favorite part of the book was the very last page, 'cause my favorite character came back haha. I wish I didn't have to wait until February of 2013 for the last book of the series to come out.

I definitely recommend this series though!

second helpings.

I finished this book about a week ago. It was really good. I'm currently reading the third in the series right now. I have a little over 100 pages left.

I definitely recommend this series (:

stay.

I finished this book today. I really liked it. But it could have left out all the swearing. I don't swear, but I can deal with it being in a book if there was very little. But this book had a ton in it.
But the story behind the book was really amazing. I'm glad I read it.

I definitely would recommend this book.

kissed by an angel.

I finished this book on February 24th and never posted about reading it. I absolutely loved the 3 books in this series. I didn't think I would in the beginning. But a few chapters in I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I can't wait to order the 4th and 5th books in the series.

You should definitely check out this series (:

hana.

This is an ebook companion to Delirium. It's part of Delirium in Lena's best friend, Hana's, point of view. I loved it until the very end. To not give away any spoilers, let's just say... I kind of really hate Hana now. She completely turned on Lena and... yeah.

I can't wait for Pandemonium to come out on February 28th!

sloppy firsts.

I didn't enjoy this book all that much in the beginning. But when I really got into it, I started to love it. And I got a nice surprise at the end of it... They mentioned Maine! I love it when books do that haha. And that little note on the front of the book reminds me of high school so much. My best friend and I used to give each other notes shaped like that. I still have one of them!
Anyways, I ordered the other four books to this series yesterday. I can't wait for them to come in the mail (:

i love cats.

So there was a cat outside my window today, so I went outside and played with it (don't worry, I made sure it wasn't going to bite me first) haha. such a loving and cute cat :3 it's purr sounded like a motor haha.

love & leftovers.

So I finished this book at one in the morning today. It was really good. When I ordered it I wasn't aware that it was written in verse form, so it took me a bit to get into it 'cause I haven't read a book written in verse in forever. But it turned out really good. I recommend it (:

I'm now reading Sloppy Firsts. I'm not a huge fan of it right now, but I'm hoping it gets better as it goes on.

bittersweet.

So I finally got this in the mail a few days ago and I started reading it that night. It was so good. I'm sad that she hasn't written any other books yet though. This book just came out on January 3rd of this year though... So there won't be another one for awhile.

I'm usually not into books that have hockey in it... but it was really good and had me engrossed in it the entire time. But it also had cupcakes in it. And I love sweets and baking. So that was lovely haha.

I definitely recommend this book. Anything by Sarah Ockler is wonderful, at least so far (:

pretty face.

So, I know... I totally skipped reading The Magnolia League. I really did try to read it though! I ended up reading this book though, 'cause it was the last one that I had that I ordered. It ended up being really good! The girl somewhat reminded me of me, only somewhat though. I definitely recommend it (:

Right now, I'm re-reading Forever Princess for like the billionth time. It's my favorite book of the Princess Diaries series. I'm just reading it while waiting for the books I ordered to come in the mail.

Also, why you're at it... you guys should check out Lauren Oliver's giveaway/contest for the Delirium series! Here's the link: http://laurenoliverbooks.blogspot.com/2012/02/sweet-v-day-giveaway.html

twenty boy summer.

So, I totally skipped reading The Magnolia League so that I could read this. I'm kind of glad I did haha. This book was amazing. I did not want to put it down at all. I stayed up later reading than I normally do, even though I was getting tired, 'cause I just didn't want to stop reading. I wanted to cry a lot in the beginning. Like heart-wrenching, making your stomach upset type of crying. But I didn't cry, 'cause I hate crying and don't let myself. But just like the book cover says, it does put your heart back together. I definitely recommend that you read this book. I can't wait to buy her book Bittersweet when I get the money to.

Now on to reading The Magnolia League.

fixing delilah.

I finished this book at 12:30 am. It's Sarah Ockler's second novel, but it's the first I've read of her's. I have her first book Twenty Boy Summer, in my closet just waiting for me to finish other books so that I can read it. I'm sure whenever I order more books that I'll order her newest book that just came out this month that's called Bittersweet. I love her writing.

This book was based in a fictional town in Vermont. Which I didn't know until I started reading it haha. I love reading books that are based in New England, 'cause I can picture the town better. This book was really good. I did not want to put it down.

I definitely recommend that you check out this book. It's really good. Just be aware that you might get teary-eyed while reading it.

the host.

Honestly, I don't care about what people say about Stephenie Meyer's writing. I love it. Yes, this may have started out really slow and didn't catch my attention until about chapter 8... But I really ended up loving this book. I just finished reading it about an hour ago. I'm hoping that she writes a sequel to this. But I'll be okay if she doesn't.

I'm somewhat excited to see it be turned into a movie. Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

I definitely recommend this book (:

the queen geek social club.

I finally finished this series almost a week ago. It wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but it was still good. They were sophomores in this story, so it was quite hard to read 'cause I'm older now... So they got kind of annoying haha. The best thing about the series was that she had this super lively robot. It was awesome.

forever summer.

I finished the first book, Laguna Cove, a couple days before the new year started. And I just finished the second book, Cruel Summer, today at 2 am haha. Then went to bed after. So I couldn't update about finishing it until now.

I loved both of the books! But I think I enjoyed Laguna Cove more. But I definitely recommend these books.

First book of 2012 done. Now onto another one.

remember these moments.

So, it's the new year. I can't believe a year went by that fast, geez. I'll be 20 this year. I won't be a teenager anymore. Holy crap.

I rung in the new year with my mum while watching MTV's NYE in NYC special and drinking sparkling blueberry lemonade.

I took these pictures of my room before I went to bed. So this is what my room looks as of the beginning of 2012.

Then later in the day (after waking up haha), I hung out with my friend Jerrica. My parents, her, and I all had the Strawberry Bisque and Chocolate Strawberry Shortcakes I made. They both tasted so yummy!

Then we all made supper (barbecue pork chops and homemade french fries) while listening to Hanson. And on the way back from dropping her off at her house, we stopped and I took pics of the gazebo lit up in town.

Things I did in 2011:
  • January: I made a Disney World tote bag for my best friend. Got my McFly poster in the mail that I finally found online to buy after years of wanting it haha.
  • February: Nothing really all that exciting happened.
  • March: My brother and my sis-in-law Linzi visited. I started watching the tv show GREEK a little over a week before the finale aired and became obsessed with the show haha.
  • April: Nothing really all that exciting happened.
  • May: Nothing really all that exciting happened, besides the fact that I made a Holly a McFly tote bag for her graduation present. Also got really into baking and making sweets. Still not a fan of cooking though haha.
  • June: Tried painting my room a new color, but had an anxiety attack over how bright it was. So I went back to my old color, which is relaxing. Saw my first sunrise in awhile after waking up at 5 am and looking outside. Went to Port Festival with my dad and Jerrica... and saw the bands Hot Chelle Rae and We The Kings (the only bands I cared about at it) at the Port Festival. I met Nash Overstreet and Ian Keaggy of HCR, also got a group hug from Travis Clark haha. Turned 19. Got a tweet from Alex DeLeon saying happy birthday to me after telling him it'd make my day haha.
  • July: Painted a McFly thingy (not going to post a pic on here.. I love it too much for somebody to steal the idea). Bought tickets to see Hanson live. I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 with my dad. Made this blog.
  • August: Signed up for Pottermore early access.
  • September: Started really to get back into reading books.  Bought the Vampire Diaries season 2 boxset. Dyed my hair. Took a walk out to the railroad track with my mum. My brother and my sis-in-law Linzi visited again. Had a small family taco lunch/early bday celebration for my brother with my mum, my dad, my bro, my sis-in-law, grampa d, gramma d, and grampa e. Took a family picture. Got ice cream at the local ice cream shop with my parents after we took the family picture. Got into Pottermore (since it opened for the people that got early access). Got sorted and turned out I was a Hufflepuff (I had no doubt that I'd end up in there though). Grampa D and Gramma D visited.
  • October: Made my first dutch apple pies ever and they turned out amazing! Visited my favorite teacher from my high school years, Mrs. Richardson, with Jerrica. Got my bracelet from my friend Ruth (who is from Australia) that she got in Thailand for me. Went to the fair with my parents. Bought the boxset of the first 7 Harry Potter movies. Saw Hanson live. Bought the GREEK season 4 boxset (bought all the other ones earlier in the year).
  • November: Got a new Christmas tree and put it up as soon as we got it in the mail. I saw Breaking Dawn: Part 1 with my parents and Jerrica.
  • December: Got my postcards and stickers in the mail that I ordered from Charlavail's Holiday Shop. I had Christmas with my parents and my gramma w up at her new house. Also sent out presents/received presents from my online friends.

In 2012, I want to keep track of all the books I read... since I've never really done that before.
